Are the Trek movies done?

Generations is on Sci-Fi now, and boy does it suck.

After a short reprieve with First Contact are they finally done with these?

no i read an article, i think maybe in Time or somewhere, that the next trek that is being planned is going to be set in the times of Kurk BUT wont be using those characters. should be interesting.... It was in an article talking about how Enterprise ended. In fact, I think it was in a TV Guide I was reading.

They should be done. First Contact was the only good one from the next gen cast.

I think they should let them rest for a while, then come back to it, set it like 10 years after the last movie to see what has been going on with the crew.

I've never really liked any of the Next Generations movies. They all had a TV quality feel to them. Personally, I don't think Trek is suited for the movies. Movies don't give them time for any real character development and their scripts are more suited for TV.

Just do 4 TV movies a year so the Next Generation crew can get some work and start losing weight!
