Are the retail AMD XP (Barton) HSF's reasonably quiet?

Title says it all. Any comments on the temps that I would be expecting would also be appreciated.

Dont know about the Bartons HS, but if it is anything like the older Athlon XPs HS fan than not really. It isnt overly loud, but it is louder than it needs to be for the cooling it provides. Sorry I can't give a complete answer.

The retail amd heatsinks use 60mm fans, spin 3500+ rpm and drive you insane. Then again, depends what you definition of quiet is. Me? I'm a silent freak. Even the quietest Zalmans won't make me happy 😛
