Are the problems associated with the Mobile GeForce 2 only with Dell?

Are the problems associated with the Mobile GeForce 2 only with Dell? Or is it a problem with all the cards in general. I'm looking at a gateway and I've found one I really dig.

LMK if this belongs in general hardware.

long ago, geforce 2 go cards drivers are only provided by the notebook manufacture.. ie dell uses dell , toshiba uses toshiba.. but now i heard the reference driver are out.. so there might not be a problem...

Problems,
I have no problems at all with my card in a Dell 8100.
A bios update and a new driver are available.

!!Don't get a Gateway!!
