I have seen many many posts saying something is wrong with the motherboard when in fact the problem has absolutely nothing to do with this board. Seems as this board is getting a ton of needless bad rep.

Please state your problem to us with a lot of detail in what is going on and what you changed last in your system but don't always say it's your new mobo.

I know i'll get flamed for this but I'm running this board and it's prolly the best one for socket A and the best one i've ever had and i hate to see it getting a bad name because of misleading posts.

Let the flames begin

I'll be the first to say that my problems aren't caused by the Pro 2 A board. It's been great since I got it. My problems started when I let my cable co istall a usb cable modem and there software and then not even finish the job. It's been four days and they haven't called back to even see if I've connected.

The reason that I made my post the way I did was because I wanted Pro 2 users to respond. I felt your the ones that know the board and can help me the most.:)

Thanks

I agree with your point Davegod, but your title is misleading as well.....it almost seems like you're telling people not to look for solutions for their problems here.

We should keep that one thread bumped up that is specifically for the Pro2-A.
Looks like we have the most popular board for a brief moment in time.

I posted a problem I was having, and it does not seem to be my board, it was actually a deffective cpu I think.

Why are you been so protective to a motherboard?

I am thinking of replacing my 2 Asus A7V's with the MSI KT7 Pro2-a. ;-)

I just hope it's a smart decision. (read: looking for moral support)

I accept it's a good MoBo.

But unfortunately, my K7TPro.2 A is not been able to install Windows 2000 Pro. or Whistler Personal Beta1.

And all components installed on ABIT's KT7 MoBo then have NO problem at all.
The reason why I take K7T Pro.2A is because it support UDMA-100.

Only for your reference.

I've had mine running a T-bird 800 @ 950mhz for a week now with absolutely no problems.
The board is rock solid so far and I am very pleased with it.
