Are the new 1.53GHz Pally MP-capable?

As above. I know you can use any old Athlon in a Dually setup, but CPU's specifically designed for MP-operation would be better. Seeing today's news about an upcoming Dually AMD setup by Anand The Man himself has whet my appetite for a dual rig. January is right around the corner, you know! (Bonus time for me!)

Almost assuredly yes, but as they are not yet released I suppose their is some off chance that AMD may have disabled SMP capabilities. It's pretty safe to say it'll work fine though.

Joohang: they are, but they aren't AMD sanctioned as such.. or something like that.I guess you already know that though, noticing the 🙂 .. I can't wait till there are more motherboards that are capable though.
