I saw an article a few days ago about James' first nationally televised game being on July 17th. I think its going to be on ESPN.

I don't know, i guess he would seem pretty amazing as a HS kid, but as a Pro? i think people are going to be underwhelmed.

The NBA's summer league games will be televised by the league's network this month, with LeBron James making his TV debut as a pro on July 16.

This is the first time the summer league is being televised on the NBA's 24-hour network. ESPN has televised summer games in previous years.
It doesn't sound like espn is picking it up too, altho it doesn't say specificly they won't be carrying any.

Yeah, I did a quick look for the article and I can't find anything about the article. I think I remembered it wrong. In fact, looking around I've read all the same info as the article above that all the summer league games will be on NBATV. But on a side note, if you're in LA you can go see him play at MidSummer Nights Magic, the Magic Johnson Charity game. I heard on the radio that he, Carmelo Anthony and other players should be playing. I don't know how much tickets cost though, its at Staples Center sometime late in July, the 26th or 27th if I remember correctly.

Good idea! I just added it for July!

Funny...I see tons of options to add services to DirectTV, but no "Cancel Services" option. Weird!
