Are the military helicopters active in your area right now?

once in a while we'll have a 'chopper or a jet flyby....

i'm in Queens, NY.. so i'm not too far from Ground Zero. The president is coming here in about 3 hours to lay a wreath at GZ... so traffic right now is a snarl.

Well I am close to the airport where I am (Rochester, NY btw) so we see planes overhead all the time, but these are about 1/10th the altitude that they normally are.

Seemed to stop at some point in the night....haven't heard a plane at all today.

Saw the most beautiful thing today--About four or five F-16s flying in formation against the Charlotte skyline. Something to do with memorial services here I guess.

I saw 4 or 5 fighter jets while walking to my dorm. (Madison, WI) They might be flying around every capital in the country(?)

I've seen a few aircraft here and there against the norm. There is of course the Lawrence Livermore Labs right over the hill so that COULD be why...
