Are the Logitech X-530s shielded?

I just recently ordered an overstock Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2060U off of Azatek. I was wondering if the X-530s (specifically the satellites) are in fact magnetically shielded. I searched the intarweb high and low but could not find any reviews which said anything about shielding. Also, the Logitech web site including the support forums did not have any mention of this. Is anyone out there using them fine with a CRT? Thanks.

I don't think you will have a problem, just dont put a speaker on top or right next to the monitor. 6 inches or more would probably be ok, i'm guessing.

Let me know if the 2060U is any good, there have been some duds lately.

Well, i'm hoping that because it is new (overstock) that it will be fine, although i'm somewhat worried about Azatek's 6 month rating at ResellerRatings.

For what it's worth I used the Z640's (predecessor to the X530's that I have now) back when I had a 17" CRT (and briefly a 22" one before I got an LCD). I set the center speaker on top of the monitor and noticed no ill effects...

(I didn't get the X530's from a Logitech RMA until after I already had an LCD, but I assume they're pretty similar)
