Are the L1 Bridges cut on an AMD 1.2GHz Athlon

I just received my brand new shiney 1.2GHz AMD processor and it looks like the L1 Bridges are connected (NOT cut). I don't have a magnifying glass to magnify the area and my new motherboard hasn't arrived yet so I can't try it out. By the way it is an AXIA part. I was just wondering if it is common for the L1 bridges to be connected on a 1.2 GHz part.

Thanks a lot!

Yup thats normal.

Mine aren't and so far I haven't heard of anyones 1.2 being cut. BTW, unless your eyes are bad, you don't need a magnifying glass to see if the bridges are cut. If the bridges are cut they will look like 2 dots rather than a bar. Look at some of the other bridges(L2, L3,..etc) to see what cut bridges look like.
