Are the colored steel 1030 Antec/Chieftec/etc cases discontinued already?

So for the past 2 months or so I've had my heart set on getting one of the silver steel 1030 clone cases (well, I know they make the originals so it isn't reallya clone;)) made by Chieftec from newegg. Well, conviniently enough, on monday my PSU went in my current rig, so I figured it was finally time to splurge. Well, newegg was out, so I decided to check around, and every place is out of the steel version and just has the aluminum.

I wanted the steel one for 2 reasons. My buddy has an aluminum one and it's quite a lot more flimsy then his other steel one. Second of all, for right around $100 shipped I could get the steel one with a window and a rebaged 420 watt channelwell PSU. Sounds like a great deal to me! Any idea when or if these thing will be coming back?

Mwave shows steel 1030's in stock for $90. I wouldn't get too shook up about not seeing them at one or two places. EMS should have them and you can always search Pricewatch (but check ResellerRatings on any potential vendors). They're also available as Enermax "FS-710" . Mwave has them for $99. Directron has them as "Chieftecs" for $69 (w/o PSU), and Enermax 710 with PSU for $99. Also look for them as "SX1000". It's the same as the 1030 but has no PSU. Get a True330 or such and you're good to go.

I'm confident you'll be able to find one pretty easy. I'd look for them someplace closer to you though. Shipping isn't too cheap on a steel case. You could easily pay $20-30!

EDIT - Also try Pricegrabber.com. They seem to have slightly more reputable dealers listed in their search results.

it was the colored ones I was looking for, the white and black ones were all over... And it was 6-7 venders, not 1 or two :p but they all got them back in stock last night, must have been production problems or the port strike showing it's backlog... thanks anyways!
