are the batteries in motorola phones manufacturer replaceable?

obviously they arent user replaceable but are you able to get the battery replaced in a phone like the razr through the manufacturer?

What the hell? Both my Droid and Atrix 2 can be replaced by yanking off the back panel!

Who uses a RAZR anymore?

Or did you mean the new RAZR? There only two, I dont really think thats much for "all of them". More like, both of them.

Also, I love my Atrix 2. The battery is monstrous, like the size of an old RAZR.

yeah i know theyre "sealed" to the user, but are you able to send your phone back to motorola for a battery replacement. what do you do a year from now when the battery in only taking half a charge?

Oh sorry, yes. Moto does that, so do the other big companies.
BUT, they sometimes charge. Check the warranty before you purchase.

Lithium Ion batteries have around 80% of original capacity after two years, not 50% after one with normal usage.
