does newegg carry the C1 steppings now or does dell get em exclusively? Another quick question, i have a P4T-e right now so i can't add any extra voltage when i overclock w/o doing the pin mod (don't want to do it anywase) so i was wondering if 1.8a's now adays can hit 133fsb on default voltage? I currently have a 1.6@2.4 on default but i want to run my memory at 1066... can anyone give me some insight.. thanks

going over 1.7v or so is not a good idea if you want the cpu to last

that being said, i think dell will probably only have the C1 1.8a's at the moment since i don thtink intel released them yet to the general public, only oem companies

Ph33zy - I had a 1.8A before I got this new C1 1.8A from Dell and both will do 2.4GHz at default voltage on my Epox 4G4A+. Sorry that I don't know anything about the P4T-E, though. Good luck!

i was just wonderinghow common it is for a 1.8a to overclock to atleast 2.4 w/ default voltage these days. I used to own a 1.8a that would only make it to 2.2 (but that was when it first came out). I have a friend that wants to buy my 1.6a and i would like to get a 1.8a so thats why i was wondering..
