Are teenagers supposed to act like assholes?

It seems to make my mother so mad that I don't insult her or do any bad things (You know, the stuff that teenagers are supposed to do). It has come to the point where she starts to pick fights with me in order to get me to do something wrong. I don't know, the woman is a bit strange anyway.

Like I said, it's just her. She is the only one that has ever told me I act like an asshole. Everyone else says the opposite.
 
I'm 23 now, and I don't think I was ever an asshole of a teenager. And I don't think I'm an asshole now (I think), some people just have different mentalities I suppose.

On topic, when I was like 14-15, I went through the asshole stage. I don't know why your mom wants you to be an asshole though, maybe she needs some :cookie:s?
