Question Are SSD prices headed down yet?

I have 4 thin clients that I'd like to add an SSD to each, plus a couple of desktop PC's that I'd like to upgrade. I looked the market over recently, and saw that prices were roughly about TWICE as high as they were the last time I looked.

Is this scenario likely to continue for a while, or do you feel that it is likely that prices will start declining in the next half year or so? Not in a super hurry to do these purchases, so I'm trying to decide if it might be worth it to wait.......

The low prices were largely due to an oversupply of flash chips, which is a highly undesirable situation from the manufacturers' point of view, and one that they will try hard to avoid going forward. So I wouldn't expect prices to go back to those minimum levels. We might see some sagging here and there, I wouldn't expect anything across the board.

Are there hints that we can look for in the market that usually lead to lower prices?

Ok, so conservative manufacturers and high demand are going together to cause prices to be up right now.

I enjoyed the article Manly posted, thanks!
