Are Snow Flakes Real?

I was born on the east coast, but moved to the SF Bay Area when I was young and haven't been to the snow since so I can't remember... Are snow flakes real?

Never heard anyone say it's snowing cats and dogs - so yes those snowflakes are real. 🙂
