Are Seasonic's modular cables interchangeable?

So I was wondering about this the other day. Is the Seasonic's modular cables interchangeable? For instance the cables found in the X-series PSU looks like its the same as the Platinum line, and from observation it looks like the slots in which they fit in are the same as well.

I cant think of any reasons why they shouldn't be compatible with each other.

Anyone have tried this? Thoughts?
