Are RROD xbox 360's worth anything?

Has anyone sold any and for how much? Is it worth it to fix possibly for cheap? It was manufactured 2006....

Sure, you can get at least $50 for them, maybe more.

You wont get much more because there's been some insane sales on new 360s in the last month or so.

RRODs are cheap and easy to fix though. You can get kits off ebay for less than $10 to fix it, or you can find someone off craigslist to fix it for you for $30 or less.

Just ordered an x clamp replacement kit for $3.

Make sure you overheat it the right way. I installed a DIY kit, parts cost $10 from local store, and it worked pretty good....but the RRoD came back about 5 months later. I chalk it up to user error, or me installing it wrong by not overheating the system enough.

RRoD xclamp fixes are not permanent and the RRoD will come back. it may last days, weeks, months, or a year ... but 99.9% of the time they come back.

Meh, I'll x clamp it then soft mod it and mess around with it. I have a working 360 now. My friend was just throwing this out and I decided to take it. So, no biggie regardless of what happens.
