Encountered this situation with Newegg.com.....Returning a defective WD 40 gig HDD.....Return policy is 15% restocking fee on return for refund..Replacement option is a new or REFURBISHED HDD......I didnt buy a Refurbished one,so I shouldn't have to be sent a refurbished one.The restocking fee sux,I can see it if I just change my mind,but its defective,its not my fault....This is my first mail order purchase in quite a while,buddy recommended them,so I didnt check around..The order was nicley packed,and delivered on time,but two components(HDD,and Floppy have already failed).Both were O.E.M.,hopefully thats not where the problem is..........
