Are rack-mount cases suitable for gaming pcs

I am looking to consolidate 4 pcs that are in mini-towers atm. I was thinking about rack-mounting them because I have limited space in my office.

My questions:

Can rack-mount cases keep a C2Quad cool enough for extended gaming sessions?

If so, any recommendations on 3U or 4U cases?

4U rack-mount cases are about the same size inside as a standard mid-tower case, so you should be able to cool them adequately. Plus they can handle normal height add-on cards whereas the smaller rack-mount cases will need low profile cards or even a rt. angle adapter...
