I wanted something interm for under $150. So if you have input on a nice watch for under that amount please leave some input.

Please don't recommend a high-end one. I have a nice TAG but I lost the link that attaches the band to the watch and it is gonna cost about $300 to replace the band since you can't buy just the link.
I will be buying a Breitling after I pass the Ohio Bar in July.

Is a SPOT watch the geeky looking one? If so it is not my style. Thanks for the suggestion however.

That's a sweet looking watch... So what if it doesn't last 4 generations like a Rolex. It's also 1/10000000 the price.

Is this what you are talking about? If so that is not the 'look' that I am going for.

I had a pulsar for a while, it was a decent watch for every day use. It kept time, and because of the price I never felt bad if one broke/got scratched.

I've had a pulsar for 4-5 years now and it's been great. The only thing thats happened is the crystal chipped where I crashed on my bike and landed on it.

I personally do not like Pulsar, and in that price range the only thing I'd buy is a Seiko. I'd get a Seiko titanium. They're decent watches, really light, and sufficient quality to last longer than you'd probably care about.

Beyond that I'd just fix the Tag. $300 sounds like a heavy price though. You might want to check Time Zone to see if anyone is selling the bands. I'm sure you could get one a lot cheaper.

I got this one for father's day, should I keep it?

I don't know the whole story, so I guess the real question is who gave you the watch? Kids? Wife?

I'd be hurt if I gave a watch to my dad for Father's Day, just to have him exchange it for something else...

My boys are 2.5 and .5 and I went with my wife to a few dept. stores to find an interm watch. She knows better than to shop for me and wouldn't care about returning anything as long as I like what I get.

I have a Relic I picked up on eBay that has hawaiian flower pattern that turns into a VW Bus.

:p

My serious watch though is a Freestyle Chrono. That thing is bulletproof. Had it for like 4 years now.

I have a pulsar. It started rusting after 3-4 years, but it still works great. Not a bad watch for the money.
