Are PS3 Preorders really going for $1400 on ebay?

My friend has the reserve preorder or whatever. if he were to pay off the balance, could he sell it on ebay for 1400??

Just guessing, I'd say sure. Ebay is where every stupid person on earth goes to buy things, paying 4 or 5 times retail makes them happy.

I'm nothing less than astounded at how dumb people are. I'm going to have start selling crap on ebay, so many fools with so much money they can't wait to give away.

I heard ebay was cracking down on ps3 preorders because they were getting out of hand. I think any parent that buys their kid a $700 ANYTHING is an idiot. Then they turn around and wonder why their kid is such a disrespectful, spoiled little troll.

A computer for that amount isn't too bad. You can do a lot with a computer.
