Hi guyz...
I'm building a system for a friend, and basically all the parts have been decided on, except the CPU/motherboard. Its either gonna be a Thunderbird 800MHz or P3-700E cB0 overclocked to hopefully around 900MHz.
However, I've read in Anandtech's latest article that overclocking the Duron is impossible, and based on the fact that the Tbird uses the same core as the Duron, I'm suspecting that the it to will not be overclockable? If that's the case then an overclocked P3-700 will definitely outperform a stock Tbird 800.
So, any insights into the overclockability of Thunderbirds?
