Are preseason NFL games any fun?

I have the opportunity to get a great deal on some tickets to the Bengals/Patriots preseason game next Friday ($65 shipped for 2, endzone seats). When I say great deal, I mean "hopefully", because I know that preseason games are more fodder than anything else.

So what's the verdict, worth it or not?

Not at all. You'll see starters for a quarter, the rest of the game is going to be scrubs.

You may not even see them for a full quarter. A lot of the starting QBs will only play one series, same with the receivers.

I could handle watching John Kitna take a lot of snaps. However, I'll probably just save my money for some tickets I'm getting lined up for the game against the Colts in November.

half of the experience in going to an nfl game is just the experience of it all. its not just the game. go and have fun if you are not doing anythign else. it probably wont regret spending that 65 bux.

It's fun to go to preseason Packer games. Season tickets are sold out and will be sold out for the next 24302480 million years, so usually the preseason games are the non-season ticket holders. It's usually more of a party crowd, and the weather is nice, so it makes for quite the experience.
