Are "Plain" Pentium 4 motherboards the same as the "Loaded" versions?

I'm about ready to upgrade my system and I'm sort of stuck when it comes to the motherboard selection. Half of me wants to just buy a board that has Raid/firewire/Audio/Kitchen Sink built in, but the other half (the one that usually wins) is too cheap to fork over for all that stuff because I know I'll never use it. I plan on overclocking the beast once I finally put it together so if I got a no frills board would it be as overclockable as the deluxe versions?

I know that Raid, Firewire, and those other goodies are nice, but I can almost guarantee you that I'll never use them. Also, if there are going to be boards out next year that will support Serial ATA and AGP 8x then I'll probably get one of those so I very well may only have this board for a year.

So can someone please provide me with some assistance here?

If you're not going to use RAID/firewire/built in 5.1 sound, then why pay for it? A lot of people use those features, and that's why they buy the more expensive boards. As long as the board you get is based on a good chipset and is from a good manufacturer, it should be fine.
