Are personal flames really not allowed in Politics and News?

And many more are engaging in personal attacks. Also, what amounts to a "personal flame"? What level does it have to reach to complain about it?
 
It is WAY too difficult to deal with - Just do not take it personally I guess...

My belief is that people who only support ONE party are just like drug addicts who are so stoned they cannot see through the fog

It is only going to get worse as the election draws nearer.

I just hate all politicians 😉
 
Is there anything but personal flames in Politics and News? Seriously, there very rarely seems to be any sort of constructive dialogue taking place there.
 
Okay, if the de facto reality is that Politics and News is unmoderated, I'll accept that. There is not much constructive dialogue, but there is some. I think enforcing no personal flames against other users (against politicians is one thing 😉 ) would help keep cruft out.
