Are people simply PARANOID ?

Well i was trying to send a cool little animation to my good friend via icq and he rejected saying its virus. I said if you don't believe it just scan it with antivirus. He's pretty good at computer but still doesn't trust me. Now my good deed of sharing cool stuff becomes evil. What the heck is wrong with people?

Maybe he was burnt before by somebody who did not know it was a virus they were sending?

've played with computer for 6 years now and have yet to catch a virus. Sometimes i found its hard to believe since freinds around me always have.
