Are Optimized Drivers Better than nvidia original?

Was just wondering if the various optimized drivers for nvidia any better than the original ones (currently using 84.56) ???

Do they really extract that last drop of juice from your hardware??

And whats the deal with the drivers being whql certified what does it signify?


please let me know the names of some of the nvidia optimzed drivers that u guys may be using....

Opinions vary about tweaked drivers v. officials, but many report better compatibility/stability and performance in particular titles, with tweaked versions, XG's are popular.

Just skimmed that thread, but in general, if you are going to use the SW IDEs, be prepared for anything They are notoriously flakey so many avoid them entirely. I've had extremely mixed results with the nth versions I've tested, on nf2/3/4/.
