found a newspaper in pretty good condition from the Apollo 11 splash down, in 1969

found a newspaper in fair condition from 1946 with the headline "Nazis claim attack planes in flight"

and

found a newspaper from 1868 in mint condition...

any way to figure out if they are worth any money?

I did that once and it brought me to tears...

Yep, in '67 I bought my first home for 22.5k and it's in the 900K range now.

That's the worst appreciation I've ever heard of. From 22.5k to 900k since 1867. ;)

Yes, they're worth something. Depends on what it means to the buyer. Check out eBay and look at the old papers they're selling there. I personally thought about buying some old paper headlines that interested me; i was gonna frame them.

It's not worth much unless it's from a notable newspaper. Such as NYTimes.

Mines from the Seattle Times, think it worth something?

Any hotties in the personal ads?

 You know what I meant. I was just a kid in 1867 and couldn't buy a house.
