Are Northwood A processors compatible with Northwood B Motherboards?

I currently have a Intel Pentium 4 2.0A at stock speeds (not looking to overclock) and was wondering that if when the Northwood B motherboards come out, will my processor be able to run stable on those motherboards with the 133 MHz FSB? I want to know this because if it will run on the motherboard with the 133 MHz FSB, then my speed will go from 2000 MHz to 2660 MHz. If anybody knows if this is possible, let me know. Thanks.

running your "A" cpu at 133fsb IS overclocking !!! 😉

you can run your cpu on a "B" board @ 2.0ghz tho if you dont wanna overclock.

:Q Who said that running your 2.0A processor on a P4T533 will take him to 133FSB???
Simply, the new mobos on the i850E chipset support the 533FSB of the new P4s and are backwards compatible with your 400bus northwood....No force to 133 of course-just support of your cpu as well...
