Are my 3d scores out of whack?

Hi all. I have a P4 3.06ghz proc, 1.5 gig pc2700 ram, 9800 pro vid. HT is enabled, the vid card is at default settings, my heat hovers around 47c and my best 3dmark2001SE score I can get at default settings it just under 15000. If I tweak it to the lowest settings the score is just under 16000. On 3dmark2003 I get 5500 on default settings. Is this accurate? I would think I would score higher. If these should be higher, what could be the issue? Thanks.
