I saw them on their site and price seems good to me. Any thoughts about their house brand laptop?

Links?

Dell's warranty is probably better. Post links so we can check out the laptops in question

Mave S850

I was interested in this one, maybe even the Asus one but I'd like a 15" screen.

I'd like the Dell, and I leaning towards this too.

I'm considering the mwave product because I've bought stuff here and had no hitches but I guess I know that Ill get an excellent warranty and support from Dell. I dunno

What will you be using it for? For gaming, you should definitely get the fastest videocard available - Radeon Mobility 7500. It spanks GeForce2Go's bare buttocks with a hair brush! :)

Dell sells those.
If it's not something I can fix myself (e.g. any desktop PC), I would buy it from a very reliable manufacturer (e.g. Dell) so that they can fix it if it breaks (e.g. I drop it :)) Don't forget that Dell constantly releases new drivers for various OSs for the videocards, soundcards and other hardware used in their laptops. Can you say the same about this particular mWave laptop?

I would actually get an Athlon 4 with a Rad.Mob.7500 - but I don't know if anyone makes them like that.

It is not uncommon for these smaller computer makers to use non-mobile CPUs (the same ones that are in your desktop) the problem with this is that your battery life could be sub-sub-par.

But the advantage is that it costs less.
