Ahhh, not if you have an MP3-CD changer, though...

Got it:D First gen unit tho so no ID3 tags/file names and its a tad slow loading but hell it was a good deal so it all works out:)

When I bought my current HU two years ago, MP3 capability in car stereo HUs was fairly new...and pricey. So I didn't get a MP3-capable one.

I now regret being a cheapass (not that my HU was cheap, but the MP3 would've been like another C-Note) b/c most of current listening is MP3s...most converted back to .wav. :(

Yep, Omnfi is Rockford Fosgate's line (they are OEMing the SimpleFi design). Here is a link to Omnfimedia.

Where supposed to be out this month, now it looks like they slipped to 'Q3'. Which means sometime before September....

I think i'd much prefer a Hard drive based headunit. I heard there is a long gap before each songs.

The best thing about MP3 head units (and CD-text) is the ability to display the artist, album, and song title. Before I got my MP3 head unit, I was indifferent. Now I'm pissed off because I have 15 dollar cd's that only show "NO TITLE" on the display, while my 4 cent CD-R or MP3 disc shows "METALLICA - AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" or whatever. Why CD-text never caught on is beyond me.

What brand? I was looking into the Kenwood changer, but not if it doesn't have the file names...

Nah. While that may have been true of some of the older, first-gen units, the current ones (including mine) don't take any longer than a regular CD to advance tracks.
