Are most new Tbird 1 gig chips blue core??

i was just wondering, for the people that have been getting 1 gig chips lately, have they been blue or green core??

What's the difference between colors? I assumed it was just some protective coating that the put over the
die? Anyways, I've bought 2 retail 1000 T-Birds in the last couple weeks. One had a metallic blue color
with relativly large text, the other had a dark green color with relatively tiny text.

The core colours mean nothing. It's stupid to think it makes any difference.

Blue core = copper
Green core = aluminium

claims that copper conducts better, overclocks better, etc better...

All Thunderbird Athlon CPU's use copper, so the colour is irrelevant.

R0b0tN1k: find out the truth before you answer. All 1 gig and above athlons are copper. the ones below can be either since the austin plant makes them too. but anything 1 gig and above are copper.
