Are most cars that are financed amortized loans?

I want to buy a car and finance it, but am mostly likely to pay it all off much quicker than the length of loan. But is there a penalty? I think it is called a amortized loan and was hoping car loans are non-amortized. Is it true?
 
you have to ask the company ur getting the loan from. most dont have penalty, but most do make you request that all over payment from month to month be applied to the principle
