Are monitors HD ready?

With the xbox 360 and PS3 coming out, i was wonderng if we hooked it up to a monitor, would it be in 1080 HD? I have a samsung 930B LCD monitor
 
It all depends on resolution, if you have 1080 lines vertical, then yes. More than likely 720p would be easiest though, 1280x720 and the xbox has a vga adapter.
