Do medical professionals seek to scam people?

isn't "medicine" just to ploy to reinforce social/ideological agendas?

Time to drag you back off to OT...

Some do.

But I think most are doing what they believe in their patient's best interest. However what they think and what actually is may not be the same.

This is really not even a reasonable question. Just like any other profession there are scammers out there, but I would say less in the medical profession. I takes a lot years of education and dedication to obtain some medical licenses and most do it because they want to help people. Take like Socially, dude comes in here and tries to help people with medical knowledge he is obtaining and there are so so many like him. I would take my chances any day with most medical professionals, because they pay a special kind of price. Not saying other professions don't, but people like that deal with IMO the most important aspect of life, good health.

OK, so "help" is:

- selecting who deserves adequate treatment, based on whimsical criteria?

- actively seeking to kill patients and covering it up as death by natural causes?

Oh no! You've found us out, mammador! - Every medical professional ever, in unison.

I highly doubt someone goes through university, medical school, residency and countless hours of stress to just scam someone. That does not take into account the amount of intelligence and diligence in studies that it takes to achieve the positions they do.

Great, this moron is bringing his trolling and shoe-sized IQ to Health & Fitness from L&R.

So much hostility in this subforum... I wish mods enforced a better culture. This isn't OT or P&N. :(
