Are LCDs susceptible to magnetic fields?

Hi there,

I must confess there's a gaping hole in my knowledge about LCDs... I just replaced my monitor with a Samsung LCD, and would like to use this mini HiFi system for the sound, rather than buy dedicated speakers.

However, my HiFi speakers are not magnetically shielded, so I don't know if they can be placed near the LCD - I know for sure they'd be bad for a CRT, though.

Any ideas?

Should not be a problem. LCD's are digital and less susceptible to EMI than thier analog cousins CRTs.
