Are LCDs affected by fans, heaters, flourescent lights, etc like CRTs?

I know that CRT monitors can be affected by radios, flourescent lights, heaters, fans, magnets, etc if they are too close to the monitor. I was wondering if LCD monitors are affected simliarly. I wouldn't think so, but I wanted to check.

LCD?s do not suffer from the magnetic interference problems CRTs are prone to.

Yeah, it's really to bad dead pixels are an issue, LCD is a great technology.
