Are Kenwood's KDC-MP819 & 919 in-dash mp3 players any good?

New Kenwood Car MP3 players - seem to have some of the best features of what's out there right now
KDC-MPV619 - 0.0 second pause between mp3 tracks, ID3 Tag + File Name support, Resume, Random, and great sound. (I've played with this one at Circuit City)
KDC-MP819 - Same as 619, with a different display... maybe more pre-outs?
KDC-MP919 - Adds a rotary dial and a cooler display?

Thinking of ordering the Kenwood KDC-MP819 OR 919 from www.sounddomain.com

They're listed as shipping within 24hrs, but I haven't called yet...
ResellerRatings.com doesn't have them listed.

HighwayMp3.com's message board has it listed as a retailer to avoid 🙁

I have last years Kenwood and the Excelcion one.
I like the zero time between songs on the new models.
I also like the Alpine 7878.

I hate it when companies give all this information on features of the headunit but make no reference to sound quality in terms of S/N ratio, THD, kind of DAC used, etc etc. I heard both the JVC SH-99 and the Kenwood MP8019 and the JVC sounds 10x better.
