Ok, would you please explain why you feel they're the best mp3 player on the market? Last I checked they were the most expensive, were among the last-place finishers in sound quality, had the lowest battery life, had the fewest features, didn't support ogg, wma, or flac, give people trouble managing music they OWN because of copyright concerns, force you to use iTunes, and the mini's have a known problem with crackling sound due to cheap construction... The only things they have going for them are size (but that's due to not having much of a battery, which is why they have terrible battery life) and UI. You might say looks, but IMO they look like a baby's toy, all garish lights and white plastic. In closing, I think you liking iPods fits right in with your grammatically brilliant and perfectly spelled post, along with its entirely logical poll 😉

Actually I don't think I've ever been able to discuss it rationally long enough to get to this point, these posts have always devolved into flamefests too soon 😛 You and other mac users have a good point in that other DAPs likely won't work with your rigs. However, there's probably a 10:1 or 15:1 iPod to mac ratio out there. That's a lot of iPod owners who can't say other DAPs wouldn't work with their computer.
