Are integrated graphics really faster than the 5570 now?

I have a Sapphire 5570 low profile card in my slim desktop. It has enough power for the tasks that I do, but I wanted to compare it to modern integrated graphics. According to a few benchmarks I came across (http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compar...aby-Lake-vs-AMD-Radeon-HD-5570/m178724vsm7686, Passmark, and a few benches on the 3Dmark website) the Kaby Lake integrated graphics are faster which is pretty impressive. Are the integrated graphics really that much better in real life or do they only perform better on synthetic benchmarks?

Do we expect Ryzen APU integrated graphics to be better than Kaby Lake HD 630?

Uhh, why?

You can't run different GPUs (not the model name but the core) in AMD CrossFire. You can pair AMD A8-3800 series and Radeon HD 5570 (I think?).

Why is this so hard to believe? 5570 came out over 7 years ago, and at the time it was mid-low end at best. It has compute power about 520 GFLOPS and memory bandwidth anywhere from 12.8 GB/s to 57.6 GB/s. Kaby Lake with DDR4-3200 can do 51.2 GB/s (albeit shared with CPU). The HD 630 can also do about 440 GFLOPS.

I'd expect HD 630 to be slightly worse in raw performance, but not by much. But since it has better hardware video codecs, it makes it much better than the 5570, IMO.

keep in mind the 5570 had a lot of variations, from GDDR5 to very slow DDR3
here you can see that a 5570 with DDR3 1800 (average 5570 was basically that) was a bit faster than the first APUs (6550D is the IGP from the A8 3850)
https://www.ht4u.net/reviews/2011/amd_llano_apu_desktop_a8/index16.php

but with this kind of gap the following APUs (like Trinity/Richland) were probably already faster than the 5570 DDR3 all those years ago, from what I see here http://www.eteknix.com/4-generations-of-the-amd-apu-how-much-progress-has-been-made/7/
Haswell IGP could already match Llano (a8 3870K), so it was not far from the 5570,

the current Intel IGPs like HD 630 should be better than the 5570 DDR3.

Would I be able to run the AMD APU in crossfire with my 5570?

the 5570 and 5670 were not supported for crossfire with the APUs (like A8 3850), the 6570 and 6670 were supported

which is interesting, considering the 5570 was closer in speed and specs (at least the amount of SPs)

No. 5570 isn't even GCN, let alone whatever iteration is in modern AMD APU's.

the APUs up to Richland could crossfire with the 6670, so they were running with different architectures (6670 = VLIW5, Richland = VLIW4), but also, even some GCN cards could CF with Richland, so Richland (VLIW4) could in some cases CF with VLIW5 and GCN cards,
but the 5570 was never supported.

At the sub $150 segment the AMD A10-7870K currently at $125 is the fastest APU graphics wise and considerable faster than the Intel HD630.

If your HD5570 is a DDR3 version then it is slower than the latest APUs from AMD and in many games from Intel. If it is a GDDR-5 version it may be a little faster in some games.
