I'm on the quest of buyin a new PSU for an AMD 2000+, GF4, 2 7200RPM drives, 1 5400RPM drive and 3 cdroms.

I think I should get at least a 400W PSU for all that stuff, but I don't know much about brands. The only thing I could find reading aroud is that Enermax and Antec PSUs are probably the best ones. But, the bad thing is that in my local store they've run out of then for the 400W (or more) models.

What they have and told me is a very good one is a 420W iCute one. Is this brand a good one??? It's a little cheaper than the Antec and Enermax ones.

I need to get that PSU fast, cause the 400W made in somewhere out of china one I have now can't even handle the 2 7200RPM drive and the 3 cdrom drives.

Thanks a lot bonzo1, the reviewer seems to like it, says it's on par with enermax, so, it should be fine.

The only bad thins I found is that it only has 4 4pin molex, so splitters must be on their way too

I don't anything about this PSU, but I can already tell you the worst thing about it - its blasted name! Who in their right mind would name a PSU iCute? Sounds like a freakin' "child's first" internet toy.

Not many PSU's feature an aluminum enclosure, that's kind of trick :D
