Are HD 7950 3GB, and R9 270X 2GB cards, of any value to DC'ers anymore?

Wondering if I should sell mine off. I've got two of each. If I could get $100 ea., I'd probably be happy.
I'm not sure how strong they are, gaming-wise, versus a GTX 1050, which is a $100-120 card new.

I know the the HD 7950 cards use to really kick it in MilkyWay@Home, but they changed up the way they distribute WUs (now they bundle them in groups, apparently), and I haven't crunched the project since they changed it up. Can also crunch PrimeGrid pretty well. F@H is mediocre, between 80K and 105K PPD.

Alternatively, I could build four budget gaming rigs with G4560 CPUs, and pair them each with a GPU from my collection. I think that they would pair up fairly well. (Currently putting my GTX950 cards into my gaming rigs.)

I was going to suggest using the double precision portion of the cards (Milkyway), but you've covered that. Einstein is DP I think.

Both cards stomp the 1050 and the 1050Ti, in both single and double precision performance, according to the numbers anyway.

The 7950 is still good, the others, not so much, imho.

Your price should work. My 280x's off ebay were $130-150.

    Don't get 2 1050s. Get one 1060 3gb for $200. Or I hear used 970s are going for $150 now.

The two 1050 cards weren't for the same machine. :)

Debating getting a single "big card", for my i5-6400 @ 4.45Ghz box, to replace the RX 460 Nitro 4GB card (which I've played Skyrim vanilla @ 4K low with), or getting a pair of 1050 cards, for two other G4560 rigs, to try to sell.

Newegg on ebay had a supposedly new RX 480 4GB XFX card for $159.99, but that's gone now. Cheapest is like $185 now.

I wanted to stick to AMD, as I've heard that NV cards, for whatever reason, don't particularly care for my displays.

Ok, I've ordered an RX 470 4GB card.

Now I need to sell off my old ones. Unrelated to the RX 470 card, I really need about $100, by tomorrow.
(Edit: My issue was resolved, I hope. But the cards are still for sale.)

So, if the Mods allow me, to make a last-minute offer (this thread was not originally conceived as a mini-FS thread), I would like to offer my two 7950 3GB (HIS single-fan, 800/1000) cards, for $160 for the pair, to an active DCer. (Or would-be active, if you had some nice MW@Home cards.)

Also, the two XFX DD R9 270X 2GB GDDR5, singly, for $120 ea., or $200 for the pair. They have only seen usage during the F@H race last Dec., and were new before that.

No boxes/accessories provided. 14-day non-DOA. Both types of cards require TWO 6-pin PCI-E power connectors.
Make sure that you have an ample PSU, especially if you plan to put two cards in one machine! They are computational monsters!

(Or make me an offer, if you're a serious buyer, and think that I want too much for these.)

Not a bad deal, a couple of weeks ago, I'd have jumped right on it, but I already spent too much money. :(

I would have jumped on them as well. But I am poor and still have to spend about $1200 on my new build, also shipping to Australia is gonna be a killer
