Over here it's only ever been associated with hicks, farmers, rodeo cowboys and the like.

Over here it's only ever been associated with hicks, farmers, rodeo cowboys and the like.

I know. Carhart took on a completely different life in Europe. Skater kids started wearing the duck pants very loose, hanging off their ass. It became a trend. So then the European division of Carhart rejigged the brand, and marketed it as fashion wear with a work wear heritage. In the US, it's still 'work wear' for people on the farm.
