Are guys supposed to make appointments for hair cuts?

So I go to this new barber shop, get a hair cut... pretty good no complaints. The guy gives me his business card and shakes my hand all that... like I'd ever actually going to call to request a specific barber. Month later i go to the same place (walk in) and get my hair cut by the guy RIGHT NEXT to the first guy. This guy spends like 45 minutes on my hair and does a ridic job (and I never give a shit about my hair, its just a fade).

So now I'd like to get it done by that guy again but i can't make an appointment cause the original crappier barber could find out...

Sorry but you can't have the last 30 seconds of your life back.

Don't worry about it. It probably happens often - if the first barber even remembers you.

If you like the job the other guy did, why not? Who cares what other people think about whether or not you're making an appointment to have your hair cut, just worry about what matters to you (how it looks and how much you paid).

If you honestly don't care about how your hair looks, what about asking a friend to cut it for you? If you do care, then call and see if you can make an appointment with the barber that you like. If you can't bring yourself to do that, just see if you can stop in and ask the one that you like when he's generally available.

I use the same stylist and have to make an appointment. Doesn't hurt she's a 6' Columbian hottie.

This will end badly. When Enzo finds out that Gino cut your hair he will be devastated. Don't worry though, the fight will be defused when they both catch that edward sissorhands is on tv.
The one where he steals the marble rye is pretty funny too.

I've had the same barber for over 20 years. He and his two brothers own/run the shop. In the event he's on vacation, busy, whatever, I just wait until he's available to get my hair cut. No hard feelings, everyone has their own clientele.

In other words, I fail to see the problem here.

I go to the same chick...she does it right. I did the same thing, tried her, got stuck with someone else, they didn't do it right .. went back to her, felt good.

she is also hot, works next to the other gal that sucked, and cost more ... but I doubt they care, these guys have a lot of clients.

I make appointments every time, they're usually pretty busy. This is not a barber, it's actually a salon or something..called 'the chair' recommended!

I schedule with a specific barber all the time. If she isn't there some Saturday she will tell me and I move a week out.

No problem.

I'm not up to date on this newfangled vernacular, but I assume that "ridic" means good?

I've gone to the same barber for 20 years also.

I doubt guy #1 will remember you or give a damn.
He cut your hair once. He probably has hundreds of people who he's cut after you.

Obsessive and egoistic much?

Funny but I have the same haircut...but my barber doesn't take appointments ever, it's just whenever I have time:D

OP did say he got a "ridic" haircut, I assumed he meant Riddick.

My hair is pretty much "cut" the same way :)
