Hi everyone
I'm building a new PC
I want to maintain +200fps in shooter games like CSGO and overwatch and similar future games
I don't mind playing at medium settings though
what do you think ?
or should I just buy a 1080p 144Hz ?
and if these aren't enough for 1440p, what is enough ? i7 7700K + GTX 1080 ?

system specs?

Edit: Oh man I just failed at reading title; 7600K should keep up pretty well. Whether you have a G-Sync monitor may make a difference though... In which case dips below the 144Hz would almost be indistinguishable. If you need to push 144 fps minimums @ QHD these days then you will need as much power as you can get.

Yes, you'll be fine, especially if you're willing to drop to medium, but you probably won't need to. A 1070 is sufficient to pull nearly 140 FPS at 1440 with Ultra settings.

I don't know if there are many benchmarks for medium at 1440, but someone with a stock 970 and 2600K said they can pull around 140 at Medium in 1440 in Overwatch so a 1070 should do 200.
