IMHO, yes (of course there're many exceptions). This is a conclusion from my various experiences. Girls tend to like guys that is rich, handsome and take advantage of that to suit their personal needs, they do not necessary "love" that person but tries to exploit what that person can "offer" to her. Once the guy is used up, bye-bye.

Unfortunately, this applies to some males and females of all backgrounds.

The key is to not be this way yourself and to avoid such types.

Usually, if you are not a superficial person, before long you will find that there are not many superficial people around you. Like tends to attract like in some cases.
