I have just got my geforce 2 gts 64mb from "ebay"
i am using nvidia detoner3
okay i am very happy that i received the product but i wasn't that happen about the performance.

TNT2 ultra = 3408 3d marks
CL Gefore 2 gts 64mb = 6089 3dmarks

hmmzzz

TNT2 ultra = 60 FPS in UT
Geforce2 = 50 fps in ut

and when i use the rocket-lancher, i see green square stuff.. the green stuff supposed to be smoke( i am not sure if u all know what i am talkign about)

Yeah thats my problem...
 
It sounds like you are trying to use OpenGL...I have that problem when I tried to use it, too. Just make sure you have Direct 3D selected. Glide won't work.
 
Running a GF DDR with det 6.18 here, and I have no problems in UT, of course I dont play it much so I cant say Ive done extensive testing, but both FPS and image quality are about what I'd expect.
 
Same here. I am using nvidia6.18 drivers with ut4.28 excellent FPS and image quality. Did you uninstall the TNT2 completely before you installed the drivers again for the GTS?

To disable FSAA-

Start - Settings- Control Panel- Display- Settings- Advanced- GeForce2 GTS- Additional Properties

OpenGL will have a tab to adjust the setting.

Direct3D will have a more D3D tab where you can slide it on/off and adjust.

i dont get it u know....
the 3Dmark benchmark's games, I get around 80 - 90fps
in UT which also use Direct 3D ... i get 40-50fps... could it be UT's fault???
when i look into the space in the CTF-Face with Tnt2 ultra 130 - 150 fps
With Geforce2 gts is only 70 - 85 FPS max!

Man, i dont know whats your problem. You are talking that your TNT is faster than your GTS??? Pretty strange.

Download the new 6.26 drivers

What resolution are you playing??? I have almost the same system and i get 40-50 FPS in 1600x1200x16bits
 
Man, if you are complaining about your FPS in UT you must try this. They are saying that you have a great increase of performance and quality

Ill try this next week, hope you have luck

How hot is hot for a Graphic card??
i touched the head sink...
still cool
but when i touch the back side of the Graphic card
its a little hot... is not that hot when u acctually brun yur hand...
its like warm..
