Gas prices will start to go down in about a month. That's if and only if we dont loose Saudi Arabia. I don't know if yall realize this, but the government in Saudi Arabia is A) Oppressive B) negligent and C) despised by its own people. If a coup attempt happens there. All hell has broken loose.

I use premium only, so my fillip went from $24 to $30. Net change of 6 bucks, and really no big deal. I'm not gonna get all bent over a few bucks.

Then again, my commute is 1.5 miles. :D

When I started driving, gas was .99 a galon for premium.

Now its 2.14

I doubt its gonna go down to where it was, its just been getting higher and higher since I started driving.

How much has your salary gone up? What about rent?

Gas prices aren't a big portion of our budgets (unless you commute 100 miles each way ;) )

I commute around 250-350 miles a day total 5 days a week (~1300 miles a week), I'm in the same boat when I started working for my current company gas prices where .95 per gallon we got .22 per mile. Since then, the world trade towers fell, so I got a 30% pay cut (why I don't know we are based in Austin, TX), health insurance went up20%, we still just get .22 per mile, and just 2 weeks before my 30% pay cut 2 years ago I bought a new truck. needless to say it's a struggle. I figure I'm making about 900 less a month than I used to, on top of cost of living going up. gas prices suck, so do the people who cut my pay and won't budge on the .22 per gallon.
