I live in Sweden and frankly I think gaming rigs are quite costly to build.
EVGA's GTX690 costs almost $1400 and the new Ivy Bridge Intel i7 3770k (3.5 GHz) costs roughly $430. That is, when converted to USD from SEK.
Now, you don't need to have a top-of-the-line rig which beats everything known to mankind, but I took them as an example. The price of a full rig which is top-of-the-line costs at least $2200 if you go with a 680 or 670. With the 690, it's gonna come to at least $3500.
